Our infant program is licensed for 7 infants (4 weeks- 15 months) with 2 full time teachers.

 

At The Children's Village Mansfield your infant will receive personal, individual attention based on their own schedules and needs. Infants are provided many opportunities throughout the day to learn and practice new skills such as rolling over, sitting up, crawling, and walking. In the infant room we use the Highreach curriculum to help the infants reach their developemental milestones. We also provide progress reports every three months using the Ounce Scale to track your childs milestones.

 

Our infants grow and learn in a safe nurturing environment.  Our bright clean classrooms are well stocked with appealing, age appropriate toys and materials carefully chosen to foster a variety of skills.  Our youngest students go outside everyday to play in our playground or for a walk through the neighborhood.  All of our staff members have extensive experience with young children including infants and toddlers. The

Children’s Village also promotes teaching baby sign language. We have weekly sign language instruction by a trained professional as well as implementing sign throughtout all of our daily routines.
